  1. Always look to the scorer’s table to see if a sub is ready before making the ball live.
  2. If you have a ball, waive the sub in.

  3. If you are without a ball, waive the sub with one hand and put the other hand up in a “stop sign” to your partner until the teams are back to 5 on 5. Then give an “OK” signal by pointing or nodding.
